To add texture to our Independence Day lineup, we’re thrilled to announce Elsie Raad as the next featured performer at our 69th Independence Day Celebration: Our Heritage through Music and Literature.
Elsie Raad is a Ghanaian–Nigerian–Lebanese, genre-blending artist based in Accra. Her music fluidly fuses alternative, Afro, highlife, dancehall, folk, R&B, and rap, creating emotionally rich, boundary-pushing soundscapes. With a practice rooted in lived experience, she crafts music that is deeply human.
